Networking, product showcases, and innovative products are expected to attract more than 2,000 retailers and media representataives from around the world to the ABC Kids Expo, scheduled October 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The 17th annual event is expected to host more than 1,000 booths containing nearly 2,200 brands as well as a number of new exhibiting brands. First held in 2001 with 100 booths, the event has grown exponentially.
Attendees should expect to see cutting edge technology, safety, travel, and convenience products designed to appeal to the average millennial parents who are spending $12,000 a year, on average, to buy the best for their children.
New this year is The Plaza™ a new experience for retailers to engage with exhibitor products in a Parisian style marketplace.
Major exhibitor categories range from maternity and baby gear to apparel and gifts, as well as furnishings, toys, and more. Special sections are dedicated to Modern Child®, and Naturally Kids®. Maternity Square® features manufacturers of maternity clothing and lingerie as well as fashion and accessory items such as diaper bags, nursing slings, and nursing covers. A runway event will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 24.
The Modern Child® Pavilion features juvenile product manufacturers that focus on contemporary design and high functionality and represents the most innovative designs within numerous product categories.
The Naturally Kid® pavilion showcases manufacturers of eco-friendly products that are healthy for both families and young children and demonstrate a responsibility to the planet and its natural resources.
Returning this year, the New Product Showcase Awards Of Distinction will recognize the best products from participating brands, as judged by retailers and members of the media. The New Product Showcase is located on the trade show floor.
Providing inventors an opportunity show their prototypes in a conceptual or prototype state in an enclosed showcase area is the Invention Connection.
All Baby & Child was officially formed in 2003 and sponsored its first industry show that year. All Baby & Child Corporation, a non-profit, partners with independent specialty stores and manufacturers. The organization also hosts a spring conference.
