The Kids Design Award is also being offered once again: it honours exceptional concepts and designs in the segment of outfitting and furniture for babies and children. Last year’s winner Gintarė Černiauskaitė, a young designer from Lithuania, underlines the impact that the award had on her career: “Through this award I was invited to a workshop with one of the toy manufacturers. This resulted in me slightly adapting the product for the market and licencing the manufacturing rights of the game.”

The Design Parc is an exhibition area where exclusively specially designed children’s furniture, living accessories and games from different countries are displayed. Outstanding, ready for the market products that have already been produced can secure themselves support in the form of a tailor-made sales concept which considerably facilitates their market entry. The participants of this year’s Design Parc have already been nominated. Eleven companies from all over the world will present a broad range of product from eco-friendly furniture to decorations, bags and toys.

The “The Connected Kidsroom” special event will also be continued. Smart products and digital applications that make the lives of parents and children easier will be attractively presented in a children’s room atmosphere.
