Registration is now open for the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) Show: Built for Baby. This year’s show is scheduled April 10-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to attract 4,600 attendees, 90%+ of the industry’s buying power, and thousands of new and expecting parents.
In addition, manufacturers can enter products in the JPMA Innovation Awards competition until February 11. This long-standing and widely respected contest is judged a committee comprised of industry buyers, consumer and trade media, safety experts, and industry partners. The products are judged on their innovation and other qualities. For information about the competition follow this link.
Start-up Central is an enclosed pavilion located in the heart of the show floor where tabletop display partners will be featured. Space and availability is limited. In 2013, Ju-Ju-Be is a success story that began with a tabletop display at a JPMA show 13 years ago, and Joe Croft, founder and CEO of Ju-Ju-Be reports it’s a great way to give young and innovative companies a chance to promote themselves to the industry.
VIBE @ The JPMA Show is a hosted experiential program that delivers value and a high ROI for both exhibitors and buyers by connecting them in an engaging business experience. Meetings will occur during a pre-scheduled window on April 10 before the show floor opens. Trade attendees can select meeting packages that include a specified number of meetings within the segment or segments they choose—up to 28 individualized meeting slots. Although exhibitors will receive special, discounted pricing for the VIBE program, it is not necessary for a brand to exhibit at the show to participate.
Through a partnership with a2z’s VIBE™, JPMA will cover the cost of travel and attendance for key, qualified specialty retailers, international buyers and top-tier media and influencers, giving both exhibitors and trade attendees a guaranteed chance to meet with a select group of buyers and media in addition to normal exhibiting hours at the show.
JPMA will also host The International Standards Organization (ISO) multinational committee, ISO PC 310, as it works to develop a new global standard for strollers, during show, April 10-13, 2019 . Technical experts from across the blo are working together to identify the commonalities across existing standards, and incorporate them into one streamlined standard that can ultimately be adopted by interested countries. With ISO’s presence, The JPMA Show will become an international forum for standard setting work.
JPMA exists as the voice of the industry on quality and safety for products intended for babies and children. The organization does this by advocating for safety through product certification programs and legislative and regulatory involvement; supporting a broad and diverse membership through member-only programming and industry promotion; and by acting as a comprehensive resource for baby product information and education.
JPMA members represent 95 percent of the prenatal to preschool products sold in North America.
