Her daughter had an allergic reaction to synthetic fibers. After much research, she sourced natural, eco-friendly, and sustainable fibers (rayon from bamboo & organic cotton) that she found to be the best natural choices available for baby and toddlers’ clothing and bedding. She started to design and launch more styles made of buttery soft, breathable and Oeko-Tex 100 certified fabric. All designs are functional, adorable, fun and creative.
The bamboo zip-up footies were named 2013 Creative Child Awards Winner, recognized for its innovative design of easy dressing and diaper change inverted zipper. Organic cotton zip-up footed sleeper also won Green Scene Mom Award in 2016.
All clothing and accessories are inspired by natural themes and designed to provide ultimate comfort for playtime, sleep time, party time or snuggle time. Women’s sleepwear and family matching have been added to the new collection. Over 100 boutique stores have been carrying silkberry baby products in their stores.
