ABC Fall Show Stacking Up As Best Ever
Prior to this year's ABC Kid's Expo in Louisville (October 14-17), the Kentucky Exposition Center is spending more than $1.2 million to update the property and its amenities. Additional concessions, including coffee and kosher options, are being added, as are expanded seating in food service areas. A new Wi-Fi system is also being added to the facility.
In addition, more healthy menu options will be available and attendees will be able to pay with cash or credit cards at all the dining locations. A permanent business center is also being provided.
More signage, security, maintenance, and housekeeping services are being added, as well as improved lighting and HVAC systems. Free parking will be provided for exhibitors on unloading and loading days, as well as cheaper daily parking rates and other parking perks.
Local restaurants, hotels, and taxi companies, as well as the Louisville Airport Authority have been contacted by the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau about improving attendees experiences in these areas. And the Hyatt Regency is undergoing a $5.8 million renovation scheduled for completion before the show opens.
